Communion Cakes

Here are the communion cakes from this past weekend.

I used the invitation from Kaitlynn's Communion to come up with this design. Coloring the icing to get the exact shade of pink took the longest time but well worth it. I think the simple the design the more elegant the cake looks.

I can honestly say I have become quite the expert decorating those cross cookies. I'm sure you all have seen your share, but I had to add this photo. They look so pretty.

The weekend is coming to an end. A few more cakes and I then I can relax until next weekend when the communion cake continues. Yes, it is that time of year.




For Elliott's cake he wanted a cake iced in orange icing with a brown cross and that is exactly what he recieved.

Large cross cookies are $2.00 each and the small cookies are $1.15 each. They can be bagged and tied with decorative ribbon for an extra $0.75 each.
