Stacked Communion/Baptism Cakes

Both of these stacked cakes were from this pass weekend and a big hit. A small stacked cake that served many.

These cakes consisted of a 10 inch, 7 inch and 4 inch round cakes and could serve well over 60 servings.

Brown as an accent color seems to be popular request lately.

I made a few ribbon roses out of fondant. Not too many to keep it simple and elegant.

I placed a fondant cross on the top tier but your own communion cross or keepsake could be used.

If you are serving other desserts besides your cake, you might want to consider a cake that serves less to avoid extra leftovers. Some like the extra cake for those late night cravings with a tall glass of milk.
