Juicy Couture Graduation Cake

For this clients graduation cake I was told the colors were a medium pink and chocolate brown like "Juicy Couture". Well having all boys I was slightly at a disadvantage. I found these pictures on the internet that gave me a little inspiration. Here is the result!
I glammed it up a bit with some pink and brown glass beads strung from brown wire.

I like to do an assortment of different shades of color.

The gold also adds to the glam factor. So Fabulous!

Wrestling Belt Cake

I had so much fun doing this cake. I love it when my clients call me up tell to do whatever I want. They give me some ideas but they really have no expectations as far a decorating. They just trust me.
I was just told they love wrestling and each had they're favorite wrestler, in this case John Cena and Jeff Hardy.
Now if these wrestling superstars had cartoon versions of themselves I would have no problem trying to attempt to duplicate on a cake. So I settled on laminated pictures. The center piece was made out of fondant and air brushed gold.
This was my first attempt. I have more ideas how I could make it look a little better.

Graduation Cakes

Graduation Cookie Favors

Here is a combination graduation and confirmation cake.
Scroll work piped in black icing.
Cross of roses and ribbon in school colors.
This is the 3 layer 1/2 sheet cake that serves about 65 people. Notice the height, about 4 inches tall. This graduation only proves that you don't have to do the school colors for your party. I think we pulled it off with this pink and gold cake. Definitely not the standard.
All fondant and buttercream decorations were painted with edible gold.

Claudine

Graduation Cake

"Hi Claudine I just wanted to commend you on a job well done. The cake was unbelievable. And all the cookies, brownies, cannoli, were so great also. You are truly an artist when of comes to making everything look so beautiful and such an incredible pastry chef when it comes to tasting even better than the way it looks. Thanks again so much for doing an outstanding job and I look forward to having a long business relationship with you.
Best regards,
